In 2023, we lost our son Sean in a tragic accident. In just 38 years, he impacted countless lives, living with an open heart and a commitment to leaving people better than he found them. We’re simply continuing that work.
The Sean Hayhurst Memorial Foundation was created to carry Sean’s spirit forward.
Through a small number of intentional events each year, we raise funds and donate directly to organizations and individuals who reflect the values Sean lived by: compassion, integrity, service, and believing the very best of people.
Every dollar raised goes toward making a meaningful difference, supporting veterans, children’s hospitals, food banks, community organizations, and families in need.
The Difference We’re MakingIn just over two years, the foundation has supported 16+ organizations across Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, and beyond.
Funds raised at each event are directed back into the community connected to that event, ensuring local impact with lasting meaning.
